When Oprah was on TV, Bob Greene would make appearances on her show, over the years. I've always listened to what he had to say. His book carries on the helpful and life enriching information.Reading his book, sparked a change to where I know with the right food, tools and mindset, I can turn back the clock.I've made some changes. My health and skin are showing signs of youthful renewal and vitality, following the some of the information in the book. Bob Greene is right, the human body is capable of youthful renewal and vitality.
I thought this book was a well rounded and realistic approach on how to take good care of ourselves. Bob Greene used different authors to write chapters in their field of expertise. I already knew much of the information but it was a good reminder and an enjoyable read. I'm not sure reading it will make me look 20 years younger but he certainly suggests ways to look and feel better.
I've been wanting to start taking better care of my skin and health as I continue to lose weight. In this book, He breaks down his program into 4 categories: exercise, eating, skin, and sleep. He's changed his exercise levels from 5 to 3 and upped the number of strength exercises. It's challenging but I've done it a couple of times already.I'm still working on exercise and just now starting "eating" ... it's not much different than what he introduced to me in THE BEST LIFE DIET.

Worth buying... the chapter on skin is an education.
This information is very informative. All of us may know some of this, but the have it all put together in 1 source is great! I love the eating program because it is all good common sense and simple health eating. Something we can all do with just a little effort. This isn't a "vanity" book! This helps us all age gracefully! And the most important thing to me...healthfully!
Great advice. Lot's of common sense and do-able changes for a healthier life.
I haven't finished the book as I am trying to implement the strategies as I read them. Really like the section on exercising as you can adjust for your age. The diet section also has lots of simple changes that I hope will help. I am 75 and need all the help I can get.
