We got the edition that ends with Obama and includes a foreword by Obama. Great mini-bios and beautiful full-page reproductions of official presidential portraits. Our only note is: since official painted portraits are not done until after presidents leave office, the publishers use a photo for the featured image of the current president, and instead of using his official photo, they used a somewhat unflattering picture of Obama.

Would have like more discussion about the Declaration of Independance, Constitution, and Bill of Rights, but otherwise seems like a good introductory book for grade schoolers to learn about the presidents and a little bit about history. Writing is dynamic and fun to read.

I was looking for an up-to-date resource that we could use to learn more about the Presidents while we memorized them in order. This has been a perfect companion to our history studies. Love the layout. Great pictures. Perfect overview for the kids.

This book promised large full 'photographs' of the Presidents. Instead, there were mawkish paintings and not portrait photographs.

Our six year old loves reading this book about our countries Presidents! Great pics and easy reading for young and old! Will be a good reference in the future years of his schooling.

Grandson loves it.

My son is fist grader, he love this book, he lean their names in orders of term ,speeling, and personality. English is not my fist language, but my son and daughter's reading skill are very good, All I do is find the right book.

This book was purchased for my mother after her old one was lost in a move. She really likes it and says that it has far more info than her old one and that she is learning alot about the presidents that she did not know.
