This is a wonderful book to go through with your kids. The stories are well written and simplify the verse in which the story is based on. My 11 year old boy said he looked forward to our time with this book. Very easy to connect with the content. This purchase was actually my second one as I was buying an extra copy for a friend to use with her family.

This books is great! It has a bunch of short stories that illustrate spiritual truths, but they are not heavy-handed and they are well-written, so it's a pleasure to read. The stories really stick with you--both my husband and I recognized one we had heard about 10 years ago. Highly recommended as a read-aloud devotional for your family. You'll learn truths in a new way even as you pass them along to your children.

We love the short stories and the way Patricia guides the reader through the moral lesson to be learned it each one. The questions about the story are excellent ways of sharing with our children similar experiences in our own lives.

We just started our last and final year of the 5 year cycle with My Father's World for our homeschooling. This was one of the bible books and so far we have really enjoyed it - great stories and examples.
