I'm familiar with vector work but not to the point of what some of these artist can do. It's great to look at the images.However, if you're thinking that this book is gonna give detailed tutorials then you're out of luck. The tutorials are great but not for beginners and some are not clear. And only some of the artist give tutorials not all (which is understandable).

great inspiring artwork, nice to look at nothing I could not find on line, the real problem was there are no real tutorials, a paragraph on how someone created a image does not make a tutorial.

I had to buy this book for a class I'm taking. It is very interesting and full of great pictures, how to guides, and artist bios. This is great not only for in class reading, but for personal use as well.

Love this book very helpful and full of great techniques. I would recommend this book to all artists interested in the Digital medium.

Nothing to learn from here. Some illustations showcased in this book (less than half, thankfully) use the same techniques, which is pointless if you approach this publication as a source of tips and inspiration.
